Thanks, I really enjoyed this episode! What jumped out for me was something related to several of the steps. To me, curiosity is such an important tool when me and my partner need to connect. Especially when it comes to triggers and conflict. When I am able to pause, to just distance myself from the situation by being curious, it all changes. It might simply be saying something like “oh shit, I don’t know why, but I’m feeling really angry right now. Wonder what that’s all about.” Usually that is enough to dissolve a lot of tension
